Our church sound system and all the musical instruments were destroyed due to Typhoon Sendong (Washi). But our church was so blessed because other churches extended their help to allow us to recover from the tragic experience that we had.
After the flood, we had a solemn worship service because we only had one acoustic guitar and there were no microphones. After a week, we were so happy because we have already purchased two microphones. On the following Sunday, a local church here in Cagayan de Oro, gave us soundboxes, amplifiers, keyboard and a cash to buy some of the things that we still need. We used the money to buy pioneer mixers and starting last Sunday, we were already enjoying great music and great worship.
I am very thankful for the overflowing blessings. I am thankful for the generous people who have been a blessing to us and to our church. I am thankful to God for providing all our needs one step at a time.
